Harvest Cuisine is a compilation of whole food recipes from Red Seal chef and holistic nutritional consultant, Karen Kay. More than a cookbook, Harvest Cuisine calls attention to current dietary trends in North America, such as the popularity of convenience foods, that may be harming our health. Karen discusses the benefits of eating unprocessed foods and gives readers practical tips for changing the way they eat. She dismisses the notion that eating smart is difficult: “With some simple skills, knowledge and planning” Karen says, “meal times can be a joy instead of [a] frustration."
