Everything you borrow can be renewed twice. However, an item cannot be renewed if another patron has placed a hold on it.
Online: Go to Your Account, click on the Checked Out tab and select items you wish to renew.
By Phone: Call 604.935.8433 and have your library card ready.
In Person: Bring the items with your library card to the checkout desk.
You can place a hold on an item so that it is available for pickup using the Library's Catalogue. You can also add your name to the wait list for popular materials that are currently checked out.
There is a maximum of 10 holds per card at any given time. You can view, cancel, and even "freeze" your holds when you go on vacation using Your Account.
We will notify you by phone or email when a hold is available for pickup. You will have 7 days to pick up items that are being held for you.
Are you interested in reading a book that we don’t have in our collection? If so, place an interlibrary loan request using the BC Libraries Catalogue, Outlook Online, and have it sent from another library.
