Ph.D. (Cree-Metis) is an Indigenous archaeologist. She was born in Whitehorse, Yukon Territories, and grew up in Lillooet, British Columbia. Dr. Steeves’ work focuses on Native American and First Nations histories and the decolonization of academia and knowledge production.
