EXTERNAL: Supporting Today’s Teens

Join Whistler Community Services Society for a series of FREE workshops through the month of February focused on youth mental health. Connect with other caregivers and learn about youth mental health!

Facilitated by: Kelsey Schreiner (She/Her) MC, RCC, Youth & Young Adult Clinician, Whistler/Pemberton MHSU

For: Caregivers of teens/pre-teens – parents, caregivers, teachers, youth workers, grand-parents, or others supporting teens in the community

All sessions will take place at Whistler Community Services (8000 Nesters Road) from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Registration is required for all sessions!

Session 1 (February 7) – Understanding Mental Health and Diagnosis: Psychoeducation around common mental health concerns and diagnosis seen in youth today. Click here to sign up!

Session 2 (February 14) – Emotion Focused Communication: Communication skills to meet youth where they are at, find common language, validate their feelings, and stay curious. Click here to sign up!
