Forest Therapy in Florence Petersen Park

Forest Therapy, also known as Forest Bathing, is a practice of mindful engagement with Nature that restores us to a calm and connected state of being.

In this community experience, certified Forest Therapy Guide from Society of Trees, Monica Sander Burns, will offer guided techniques to engage the senses and settle the mind, allowing you to fully open to the magic, wonder and awe of the forest right outside your doorstep. Learn how simple and ancient ways of relating to the land with curiosity, reciprocity and respect can enhance your well-being and sense of belonging.

Please dress in warm, waterproof layers and comfortable, winter-appropriate footwear.

Registration is required and space is limited! Email publicservices@whistlerlibrary.ca to sign up, max two spots per person. Please let us know your plus one’s name and email address if you plan to bring a friend.
