Legal Advocacy at the Library

The Legal Advocacy Program offers free advocacy support and assistance to financially restricted individuals and families in Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton.

We offer public education, information, guidance, and support during mediations in areas such as human rights disputes, tenancy disputes, and formal appeals for Income Assistance Benefits and referral services. We also work closely with community service providers.

You’ll be able to find an Outreach Worker at the library every Tuesday from 12:30 to 4 p.m. They will be available for drop-in conversations, or you can contact them to set up an appointment.
