Legal Advocacy at the Library
The Legal Advocacy Program offers free advocacy support and assistance to financially restricted individuals and families in Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton.
We offer public education, information, guidance, and support during mediations in areas such as human rights disputes, tenancy disputes, and formal appeals for Income Assistance Benefits and referral services. We also work closely with community service providers.
You’ll be able to find an Outreach Worker at the library on the second & fourth Wednesday of each month from 12 to 2 p.m. They will be available for drop-in conversations, or you can contact them to set up an appointment.
For more information or to set up an appointment, contact Parneet Grewal at 604-892-5796 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note: there will be no Legal Advocacy Drop-in on Wednesday, December 27.
