Let’s get curious and creative in the great outdoors! We’ll explore science and all kinds of wild and wonderful things of Whistler.
Registration is required for this program! This program is for kids in grades 4 to 7 as of September 2024. Registration will open on Monday, June 17 – click here to access our registration form.
July 12: Awesome Aquatics and Wetland Wonders – Let’s explore mushy, marshy wetland wonders scavenger hunt-style. We’ll delve into the depths of river life and the dynamics of aquatic ecosystems. Learn what critters live in and around the lakes, ponds, wetlands, and creeks in our area.
August 2: Magnificent Mountains and Volcanoes – In this session we’ll make volcanoes that bubble, fizz, and froth! We will learn about the Ice Age and what Whistler and Blackcomb mountains were like in prehistoric times, while literally rocking out with earth-shattering stories and a rock identification activity.
