Have you always wanted to learn Spanish? Now's your chance! Our facilitator, Farha Guerrero, will lead you through six sessions of grammar and the basics of conversational Spanish.

About the facilitator:

Farha Guerrero is a Whistler local who has been teaching Spanish at the Whistler Public library for the last four years. Prior to moving to Whistler, her post-secondary studies included a minor in Spanish and graduate studies in Latin American History at UBC. She has a passion for learning languages especially the field of phonetics - the sounds of languages. She has studied Arabic, Musqueam, Ojibway, and most recently French. Her future goals include work in literary translation. She is currently writing her first work of fiction and will be participating in the Whistler Writers in Residence program this fall.
