Community Volunteer Income Tax Program

Need a hand to prepare your tax return? Our volunteers can help you prepare your income tax and benefit return if you have low income and a simple tax situation.

  • Work with a volunteer or Outreach worker to prepare tax statements
  • Determine eligibility for federal and provincial tax credits
  • Get tax returns filed electronically

Please note: owners of small businesses, self-employed individuals, and those earning rental income are not eligible for this program. The Canada Revenue Agency offers free, personalized support – click here to learn about free tax help for small business owners and self-employed individuals.

Whistler Tax Clinics are by appointment only. Call 604-932-0113 to register for any of the sessions below. Registration opens on Monday, February 23.

  • Tuesday, March 24, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 9, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, April 21, 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 30, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This program is presented in partnership with the Canada Revenue Agency, Whistler Community Services Society, Whistler Pemberton Newcomer Services, and the Whistler Multicultural Society.
