Electrik Kitchen Music Production Night
Back for a second season, Elektrik Kitchen invites you to step into the creative world of electronic music. Hosted by Ross Dupree, the workshop is equal parts listening, learning, and hands-on
discovery.
Using the library’s Ableton equipped media suite and midi instruments, you’ll explore how rhythm, melody, and texture are shaped in the moment. From drum machines and samplers to
synthesizers and effects, de-mystify how to translate your musical ideas into soundscapes and productions using Ableton live.
This is not a lecture—it’s an invitation to play. No previous experience is required; just bring your curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
Registration is encouraged – email publicservices@whistlerlibrary.ca to sign up! Can’t join us on October 23? This series will return in February 2026!
