Climate anxiety is a term that is being used to describe unpleasant emotions people are experiencing in response to climate change and its impacts. In this session, we will discuss what climate anxiety is, where it stems from, and some practical strategies to support ourselves and others who may feel impacted by it.

Matt Treble is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, with experience supporting mental health and well-being across British Columbia. He brings clinical expertise and an engaging, evidence-informed approach to public education, offering compassionate guidance and practical strategies for navigating climate-related distress.
