Mental Health Ambassadors Program – formerly known as the Peer Educators Program
Learn how to advocate and care for the mental health of your peers! Learn how to provide kind, thoughtful, and meaningful support to peers and increase your knowledge of local mental health resources. Participants will be trained to listen, empathize, make referrals to mental wellness resources in the community, and foster healthy, meaningful connections with fellow Whistler residents.
Hosted at Whistler Community Services Society at 8000 Nesters Road. Participants MUST attend both days – Wednesday, August 28 from 12 to 5 p.m. and Friday, August 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
