Getting Started in Whistler

New to Whistler? Have you just arrived, and you’re not sure where or how to get started? Want to meet people who are in the same situation?

Join the Whistler Welcome Centre for a 4-Week program: Getting Started. Get settled into your new home and meet new friends.

Week 1: Learn all the practical information needed to get started, like getting your driver’s license, SIN, starting a bank account, and more.
Week 2: Familiarize yourself around the village. By the end of the week, the village will no longer feel like a maze!
Week 3: Loonie, toonie, what? Learn words/slangs Canadians use. This will help you avoid miscommunications at your workplace or everyday life.
Week 4: Wrap up everything we’ve learned and share it with your new friends over snacks and refreshments.

Save your spot! Registration is required – click here to sign up. This program is presented by the Whistler Welcome Centre.
