Get into the festive spirit with the art of calligraphy! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the basics of beautiful lettering to elevate your holiday season. Start by mastering elegant strokes and letter forms that you can use to enhance holiday cards, gift tags, and other paper products with a personal touch.
Create your own holiday cards during the session, and gather ideas on using calligraphy to bring festive charm to your decor, wrapping, and more! Calligraphy is not only a practical skill but also a calming, therapeutic experience—perfect for winding down during the busy season. You’ll leave with the skills and confidence to continue lettering, adding beauty to projects for holidays to come.

About the facilitator:
A lifelong stationery enthusiast, Melissa Mallari is a Whistler-based calligrapher, engraver, and watercolour & gouache artist. As a workshop instructor, Melissa loves sharing the art of calligraphy with others so they can not only add beauty to their lives, but also experience the therapeutic, meditative benefits of the practise.
