Kids (& Parents!) Intro to Ukulele
Join Julie for a very basic introductory ukulele session. We’ll get to know the parts of your ukulele, how to tune it, and some easy chords and strumming patterns.
This is a beginner-friendly family session – all abilities are welcome, but it is designed for folks who are curious and need a fun place to give the ukulele a try.
Please bring a ukulele for each participant from your family (adults and kids) to learn together during this session. You can place a hold on one from our collection, but there is no guarantee that it will be available for this session!
This session is for ages 6 & up. Children ages 6 to 10, please bring an adult who will be playing their own ukulele. Ages 11 & up can come on their own.
Registration is required! Email publicservices@whistlerlibrary.ca to sign up. When you email, please confirm the age of your child, and whether you have your own ukulele or have placed a hold on one of the library’s ukuleles.
