Learn Chinese for Travel, Friendship & Business! Perfect for beginners, this course teaches pronunciation, basic grammar, and everyday Chinese phrases so you can communicate confidently when travelling, meeting new people, or working with business partners in China.
No experience needed – just start speaking!
This series will run on Tuesdays from 1 to 2 p.m. from February 3 to March 31. Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions if possible. Email publicservices@whistlerlibrary.ca to sign up! This series is for adults only.
About the instructor:
Chinese-born and Australian-grown, Beijia Sun loves learning about different languages and cultures, and has recently completed a Master of Teaching degree with a language-teaching specialization. Prior to the career pivot, Beijia worked in strategy planning and operations for a travel company and helped Western tourism boards and businesses capture Asian markets.
