Let’s Make a Book!

Let’s make a book!

Join Jen every month to design, write, and create a book to be published and loaned in the library (and take your own copy home too!).

Together we will pick a theme and write stories, poetry, and graphic novellas. Can’t make the monthly meet? Join Julie in Writing for the Fun of It and work on your project there, or work at home and we can meet virtually to discuss your ideas!

Want to draw instead? Create artwork to add to the book, or work with others to illustrate their stories.

This program is for kids aged 8 to 12! Interested teens are also welcome to participate. Email publicservices@whistlerlibrary.ca or call 604-935-8435 to sign up! Please let us know if your child would like to attend in-person or on Zoom. Registration is ongoing for this program, so you can contact us at any time.

Proof of vaccination is not required for this program because it is designed for children only.

The event is finished.
