Meet the Author: Richard Van Camp

Join us for a storytelling event with best-selling author Richard Van Camp, a proud member of the Tłįchǫ Dene First Nation from Fort Smith, Northwest Territories. He will share insights about the vital role that storytelling plays in Indigenous cultures, as well as highlight Indigenous ways of knowing and communicating knowledge. For children ages 8-12.

About the Author:

Richard Van Camp is a proud member of the Tłįchǫ Dene First Nation from Fort Smith, Northwest Territories.  He is an internationally renowned storyteller and best-selling author, and the recipient of the Order of the Northwest Territories. He is the author of five collections of short stories, six baby books, three children’s books, five comics, and much more.
