Mindfulness Power Tools: Resilience
Resilience isn’t just a buzzword. It’s part of being human and can be intentionally strengthened. Cultivating resilience can take the edge off everyday life, help you bounce back in difficult times, and improve overall well-being.
This 90-minute community workshop will explore accessible tools and guided practices for fostering resilience in everyday life. We’ll draw from present-moment mindfulness meditation and evidence-based approaches from psychology and neuroscience. The session will include immersive guided meditations, practical instruction, opportunities to reflect, and community dialogue. Be sure to bring a notebook and pen for notes and reflection.
This workshop is designed as an addition to your personal wellness toolkit, and not as a replacement for other forms of professional support. All levels of meditator are welcome.
Registration is required. Email publicservices@whistlerlibrary.ca to sign up!
