Music Makers Kit
This musical literacy kit comes with supplies to make your very own drum, a surprise music-maker, and plenty of musically inspired ideas to get you rockin’ and rollin’! Repeating lyrics, rhyming verses, and different melodies in song can help inspire musical literacy and support language development. Songs with actions are fun and can enhance physical literacy and memorization skills. This kit also offers some fun song and rhythm ideas to keep the singing and song writing fun going forevermore.
This kit is designed for kids ages 5 and up – younger participants are welcome to sign up but will require caregiver supervision and assistance!
Registration opens on Friday, April 1 at 10 a.m. Email publicservices@whistlerlibrary.ca or call 604-935-8435 to sign up for a kit! Kits will be available for pick up Monday, April 11.
