One eRead Canada – The Break by Katherena Vermette

One eRead/Un Livrel Canada is a digital, bilingual, cross-Canada book club connecting readers to one another and to their libraries. It features a title that is downloadable with no waitlists for the period of a month in French and English, on ebook and eAudio for a bilingual reading or listening experience.

Readers can share their experience through the national Facebook Group and with author events broadcast mid-month.

This year’s pick is The Break/Ligne brisée by Katherena Vermette, published by House of Anansi in English and by Québec Amérique in French. Please note that the unlimited downloadable copies will not be available until April 1! We will add a link to access the book then.

The event is finished.

Territorial acknowledgement

The Whistler Public Library is grateful to be on the shared, unceded territory of the Lil’wat People, known in their language as L̓il̓wat7úl, and the Squamish People, known in their language as Sḵwx̱wú7mesh. We respect and commit to a deep consideration of their history, culture, stewardship and voice.
