PearlSpace Library Drop-in
we’re happy to welcome PearlSpace back to our Wednesday afternoon Service Provider Drop-ins. PearlSpace will be on-site from 1 to 4 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month. PearlSpace supports individuals experiencing gender-based violence and survivors of sexual assault. Their drop-in services will include:
- Sharing information about PearlSpace services & programs
- Drop-in crisis support, with the option to schedule follow-up appointments depending on need
- Referral to other PearlSpace programs, including emergency safe housing, PEACE counselling, Sexual Assault Support crisis line
- Referral to relevant community partners (e.g. Sea to Sky Community Services Stopping the Violence Counselling)
You may want to visit the PearlSpace Drop-in to:
- Gather information for yourself or others in need who are experiencing gender-based violence or need support after sexual assault
- Learn about their crisis lines for emergency safe housing or sexual assault support
- Learn about the available options to support first steps in leaving intimate-partner violence or disclosing a sexual assault
- Discuss reporting options
- Connect with advocacy & emotional support
