Repair Café

Need something fixed? Bring your broken item to the Repair Café where our skilled volunteers will help you with the repair – for free!

Whether it’s missing buttons, a crooked stool, a broken photo frame or jewelry with a wacky clasp, bring it to the Repair Café! Skilled volunteers will help you through the repair. We may not be able to fix everything, but the fixers will give it their best shot.

Repair Cafés are a community initiative that promotes repair as an alternative to tossing things out. Residents can bring their broken items to fix them on the spot with the help of voluntary repairers.

This event is first-come, first-served! We will stop accepting new participants at 3:15 p.m. to allow our fixers to end on time!

A Repair Café is not a place to drop off your items to be fixed and picked up at a later time. We request that you stay on-site while your item is being repaired. Visit repaircafe.org to learn more!

Since this Repair Café falls within Go By Bike Week, we will be offering Free Basic Bike Checks from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by and get a quick tune-up from a local bike mechanic—on the house! 🚲✨

Our friendly mechanic will be offering basic bike maintenance to help keep you riding safely. Here’s what you can expect:

✅ Quick safety check
✅ Minor adjustments (air, brakes, chain, basic lube)
✅ Advice on any bigger issues that may need a visit to a full-service bike shop

Please note: Each tune-up is limited to 15 minutes per bike so we can serve as many riders as possible. Our mechanics will do their best to get you road-ready, but they’re not equipped for full repairs or part replacements on-site.

This Repair Café is brought to you in partnership by the Resort Municipality of Whistler and the Association of Whistler Area Residents for the Environment (AWARE).
