April Topic: Explore Whistler Public Library’s Unusual Items Collection
Presenter: Nadine White, Public Services Librarian at Whistler Public Library
Nadine White will introduce the Library’s growing Unusual Items Collection, which includes everything from a GoPro Camera to a Dehydrator and Birding Kits to Memory Care Kits (designed specifically for those experiencing Alzheimer’s, memory loss, and dementia), and so much more. Nadine will also answer questions about upcoming programs for adults. Following her presentation, you’ll have a chance to “stay & play” with an array of items from the Unusual Items Collection and explore the board games on offer at the Friends of the Library Games Night, including some highly coveted Mahjong sets.
