Saturday Sessions with MAC: Whistler Multicultural Society

Join Whistler’s Mature Action Community (MAC) for a monthly series at Whistler Public Library exploring all things education, health, and wellness!

July Topic: Learn about the Whistler Multicultural Society (WMS)

The Whistler Multicultural Society (WMS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering immigrants and building an inclusive community in the Sea to Sky corridor. Born from grassroots immigrant networks, WMS provides vital settlement support, educational programming, and hosts the highly celebrated annual Whistler Multicultural Festival and Community Kitchen Events.

Come and learn about the wide variety of cultures in Whistler, how to participate at WMS events, and how to volunteer with WMS or provide WMS with a legacy donation to continue their important efforts. Participants will have a chance to share cultural travel experiences & favourite recipes from around the world!
