Independent researcher Michael Allen is back at WPL for his annual Spring Bear Update. We’ll start with a brief recap of last fall’s excellent salmon season and how it makes the spring that much easier for our bears. We’ll move onto spring behavior, including the science of bear-marking, the forecast of cub production, survival of known bears and abundance, and conclude with awareness of mountain lion and wolves in the Sea to Sky.
