Summer Kick-Off Day!
We’re ready to celebrate the summer! Join us on June 26 in Florence Petersen Park, inside the library, and on Library Plaza to kick off a great summer of activities.
We’ll have tasty treats and activities galore, listed below! You’ll also be able to pick up your Summer Reading Record.
Drop by and join the fun! No registration is required for any of our kick-off activities.
Activity schedule:
- 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Games in Florence Petersen Park
- 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Crafts in the Kids Area
- 12 p.m. onward: Lucia Gelato in Florence Petersen Park (while supplies last, kids served first!)
- 12 to 3 p.m. Face painting in Florence Petersen Park
- 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 to 3 p.m. Wonder Lab Open Houses
This event will go ahead regardless of the weather – activities will move inside if needed! This event is made possible by support from the Friends of the Library and the Library Board of Trustees.
