Passwords are important, but they’re not always enough to keep your accounts secure. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) and two-factor authentication (2FA) add an extra layer of protection by requiring a second step to verify your identity. In this beginner-friendly session, you’ll learn what MFA and 2FA are, how they work, and why they’re among the most effective ways to protect your online accounts from unauthorized access.
