Virtual Author Event: Reclaiming Indigenous History with Dr. Paulette Steeves

Join us for a virtual talk about new understandings showing Indigenous people arrived in the Americas before 12,000 years ago.

Paulette Steeves. Ph.D. (Cree-Metis) is an Indigenous archaeologist. She was born in Whitehorse, Yukon Territories, and grew up in Lillooet, British Columbia. Dr. Steeves’ work focuses on Native American and First Nations histories and the decolonization of academia and knowledge production. Dr. Steeves is the author of The Indigenous Paleolithic of the Western Hemisphere.
