More details:
The Whistler Men’s Circle is a weekly meeting for men who want to explore their experience of being a man through sharing and holding space in a supportive environment. This is a peer-led group, where men will lead each other through learning and growth.
Our weekly meetings will run on Thursday nights from 6 to 8 p.m. at Whistler Public Library. The main goal of each meeting is to facilitate a structured sharing circle to give each man present an opportunity to share what is alive for them, what they may be struggling with and which areas of their life they are grateful for. We have found that connecting with the shared lived experiences of men from many different ages and backgrounds in the circle has been really supportive to our sense of local community and individual wellbeing.
These weekly meetings are free to attend, as we want to make sure that the space is as accessible as possible. We ask that men who attend come with an open mind and a desire to learn and to listen to others. We ask for this commitment of openness so that a strong foundation can be built for self-discovery, vulnerability, and growth within the men’s circle. We look forward to seeing you and connecting as a circle of men, seeking to show up in Whistler and the world as our most authentic selves.
This series is presented in partnership with Whistler Community Services Society and Whistler Public Library.
