Whistler Rainbow Connection Mindful Movement with Kelsey
Whistler Rainbow Connection invites 2SLGBTQIA+ folks, allies, and friends to a chill, morning session of mindful movement led by the amazing Kelsey Watson. It’s all about tuning into your body, breathing easy, and moving with intention. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this is a welcoming space to relax, connect, and feel great.
Mindful Movement was created combining insights from nervous system education with Kelsey’s experience as a Personal Trainer. Using a trauma-informed approach, she guides participants through gentle, floor-based movements that emphasize how the body feels from the inside rather than how it looks or performs. The intention is to release tension, build body awareness, and support the body in moving more naturally and comfortably.
Somatic movement is the foundation of this practice—it’s about tuning into your internal experience as you move: stretching slowly, breathing deeply, and noticing where you might be holding tightness or stress.
