Write Spooky Stories with Mahtab Narsimhan

What do an astrologer’s death warning, a haunted lake, the Ouija board, and a valley of rats have in common?

Join award winning author, Mahtab Narsimhan, as she shares the inspiration for her books, and tips to write scary stories that will keep you up all night.

Bring your imagination and a lot of courage! All other supplies will be provided. This workshop is designed for children in grades 4 to 7.

Registration is required – email to sign up! Please let us know your child’s grade and whether they’d like to attend in-person or on Zoom.

This workshop is presented in partnership with the Whistler Writers Festival!

About the author:

Mahtab Narsimhan is an award-winning author with numerous acclaimed books in the fantasy, horror, mystery, and contemporary genres. Many of her books have landed on prestigious award lists, and The Third Eye won the Silver Birch Fiction Award in 2009.
