Located in beautiful Whistler, British Columbia in the coastal mountains of western Canada, Whistler Public Library is one of the busiest libraries in the province. The library opened the doors of its spectacular new building on January 26, 2008 and serves as a community hub for locals, seasonals, and visitors. Welcome to Whistler's Living Room!

Public Library AskAway Virtual Reference Service Will Close June 30, 2010.
AskAway was funded by the B.C. Ministry of Education; funding that ended on March 31, 2010. Public libraries were able to continue the service until June with existing funds by making staffing adjustments and reducing service hours.
Under Find Books & More you will find our Library Catalogue, book recommendations, digital audiobooks that you can download at home, a form to suggest a pruchase, and links to other libraries.

Using the Library section offers information on getting a library card, borrrowing and renewing library materials, information on computer access in the library, booking the Community Room for meetings in the library and more.

Our Research & Homework section provides online resources on a variety of topics.

Stay up-to-date with the Events Calendar, Teens and Kids sections. Both the Teens and Kids areas include a blog where you can add comments.
