Need access to a computer for a few hours? Laptops are now available to borrow at Whistler Public Library! You can borrow a laptop and use it anywhere in the library – all you need is a library card.
To get started, go directly to our laptop loaning locker by the main washrooms with your library card. Laptops can be used for a maximum of three hours per day and are available on a first come, first served basis. These laptops are for use at the library!
These HP laptops are preloaded with Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Google Earth and Microsoft Office 2016 Standard, which includes Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint. You can also borrow a mouse and charger in a handy to go pouch.
When you’re done, go to the laptop loaning locker to return the laptop. Your browsing history and downloads will be wiped once your session ends and the laptop will be sanitized and charged for the next borrower.
