Building Inclusive Communities in the Sea to Sky

On January 24, 25, 31, and February 1, panelists and community members from across the Sea to Sky and Sunshine Coast came together online to discuss some key areas for building inclusive communities. This series was hosted by our friends at the Whistler Multicultural Society.

These dialogues focused on Multiculturalism, Immigration, Diversity & Equity, and Belonging in our region – and not only what they look like now, but how we can all work towards more inclusive and equitable communities.

Territorial acknowledgement

The Whistler Public Library is grateful to be on the shared, unceded territory of the Lil’wat People, known in their language as L̓il̓wat7úl, and the Squamish People, known in their language as Sḵwx̱wú7mesh. We respect and commit to a deep consideration of their history, culture, stewardship and voice.
